BRAND ACTIVATION DESIGN AND INSTALLATIONS
Ramsbury Brewery at The Newbury Show
Ramsbury Brewery is a UK-based brewery located in Wiltshire, producing award-winning spirits, beer, and local food produce from their 19,000 acres of farmland across North East Wiltshire, West Berkshire, and North Hampshire.
Founded in 2015, Ramsbury began distilling vodka from their traditional baker’s wheat, creating a distinctive, smooth-flavored spirit. They later expanded their portfolio to include gin. Thanks to their careful process, high-quality ingredients, and expertise, Ramsbury produces some of the finest spirits in Wiltshire and the UK.
Ramsbury Brewery places great importance on sustainability, focusing on reducing waste and minimising its carbon footprint. They are passionate about creating the best products for their customers.
After having the pleasure of working with Ramsbury Brewery in 2023, during their first year as the main sponsor of The Newbury Show, we had confidence and a clear understanding of the event's requirements for the 2024 show. The Newbury Show is one of the UK's best country shows, attracting over 30,000 visitors. The event remains true to its roots, celebrating all aspects of farming and rural life in the area and showcasing agricultural technology, animals, artisan products, local produce, and more!
The Brief
The planning process began in the early months of the year when we discussed and evaluated the successes and challenges from the previous show to determine how to improve year on year.
Having had such fantastic results in the prior show, the client wished to amplify their stand and offer their customers a ramped-up version of the previous brand activation. For us, this meant developing outdoor areas, larger retail spaces and new bar solutions.
Using the designs created in 2023 as a base, we began to build and refine our packages to reflect the idea of growth and enhance the previous years’ looks and impact.
One of the things we did to entice more customers into Ramsbury’s pitch was customise and enlarge our branded bar. By opening this up, we created a centrepiece for the main tent (with the branding front and centre), allowing for a larger working space for staff, reduced wait times and improved service across the board. We also reduced the amount of our styling elements used in the shop section and cleverly utilised items found within the Brewery’s old barns. Many of the items sourced had been on the farm for years, allowing us to give them a new lease of life and provide a cost-effective solution to styling, while also incorporating original elements of the brand identity.
Alongside our primary package reworked from 2023, we also designed a range of ‘add-on’ packages including areas such as garden lounges, photo opportunities, branded accessories and installations. These allowed the client great flexibility in planning and prioritising for 2024.
We kept our focus on sustainability, recycling and the rustic, warm aesthetic, aligning with the brand's ethos and also relating to the customer demographic of the show.

Our Creations & Results
We created a showstopping bar, measuring a grand length of 8.5m x 6.5m, complete with bespoke branding
We redesigned the shop with the elements sourced from Ramsbury’s Brewery and a few from our inventory. It was important for us to both maintain the ‘natural’ look of the brand and have the focus remain on the products on offer- as opposed to our decorative elements.
Our Rustic Pergola Arch was used to create a bespoke archway entrance to the Ramsbury Gardens. We styled it with greenery, a customised chalkboard and branded, recycled Wellington boots. This worked wonders in inviting guests to explore the brand’s offerings
To complete the garden area, we delivered a range of rustic seating areas, a wooden wishing tree, plenty of customised signage and decorative accessories.
Preparation for this event was key. We took time to test-build elements of the design and creations to ensure any challenges were ironed out before on-site installation.
We also worked with the client on-site, making design decisions about the retail space and garden to ensure the best flow and visual aesthetic. This included the last-minute addition of an entranceway, to ensure the shop was visible and enticing for guests. It was this quick-thinking, resourceful approach that allowed us to deliver such a bespoke look and elevated experience for their customers.
